Puppetry Masterclass at BAM

Argentinian multi-instrumentalist Santiago Moreno has created a unique one-man-band puppet that mirrors his own solo multi-instrumentalist performance where all of his instruments can be played by the parts of his body to which they are connected.

In this workshop, Santiago will model where sound and rhythm exist in certain puppet materials, and explore how to find music in physics, and poetry in the mechanics of puppet movement. He will guide participants in constructing their own sound puppet prototype and facilitate how to manipulate them.
